AV Rant #262: Way Off Topic

December 15th, 2011

Content is thin in the weeks leading up to CES, but Tom and Liz are up to the challenge. The  iNuke Boom definitely made us say “Wow” (and some other things as well).  Ultraviolet is still not living up to its promise. Netflix segment this week: Is Verizon acquiring Netflix? Tom butchers Netflix Chief Content Officer‘s last name, but Ted Sarandos has some interesting things to say about the Starz deal and the future of Netflix. Check it out! Liz gets hot and bothered (in a nerdy way) about the Geneva Conventions. Listener Sean wants you all to know about Denon’s free Airplay upgrade for all compatible devices. Liz zones out while Tom talks about Pioneer, and we discuss some programs for Remastering iTunes. Placebo effect? You decide.  Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us at Podcast Alley! To see our (mostly) complete collection of show videos, click here. Download Tom’s FREE ebook Bob Moore: No Hero which is pretty much available everywhere. You can also check out Tom’s new book, Bob Moore: Desperate Times on Amazon (and soon everywhere). Friend Tom and Liz on Google+ to join in on one of our hangouts.
