AV Rant #215: CES 2011 Decompression

January 13th, 2011

Again, Robert Silva is on board this week to talk about CES 2011. If you thought 3D was on the way out, no one told the manufacturers at CES. We hear about everything from glasses-free 3D to 3D speakers. Tom is particularly interested in the SRS demo and why DTS Neo:X is still only .1. THX had some interesting bricks to throw. A bit on Ultraviolet, a service that might make it possible for you to legally stream content you bought in disc form. Gee, it’s almost like someone out there is listening. Tom’s book, Bob Moore: No Hero is officially out. A big shout out to James Riot for the cover and to Rob, Scott, Clint, Angie, Theresa and all my proof readers out there. If you can’t wait for it to hit one of the virtual bookstores, check it out on Smashwords. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us at Podcast Alley!
